Let me break down to you on why I started this blog. I have been meditating for years now and that changed me for the better. Furthermore, I learned to build confidence, compassion, authenticity, and intuition.

I haven’t learned anything on my own. None of my ideas can really be original. I picked up inspiration from various sources and learned as I practiced.

I’m grateful for all the sources of inspiration and teachers. For my personal practice, I do a lot of classical yoga, as described in this blog of mine. I also continue to seek spiritual experiences for my own development and look forward to sharing them.

Reading books is also very significant for me. Here are a few of my favorites.

  • Ruiz DM, Mills J. The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom. Hay House, Inc; 1997.
  • Rinpoche YM, Swanson E. The Joy of Living. Harmony; 2008.
  • Sadhguru. Karma: A Yogi’s Guide to Crafting Your Destiny. Harmony; 2021.
  • Shetty J. Think Like a Monk. Simon & Schuster; 2020.
  • Tolle E. A New Earth. Penguin; 2006.

One day, I coincidentally found out one day that my long-time masseuse, who I highly respected for her wisdom, happened to be a reiki practitioner! I was skeptical of this. My only knowledge on this topic came from Tv.

It turned out to be a very wholesome experience. She told me exactly what was holding me back. She gave me guidance and a handful of how-to books every time I saw her.

One day, when I had done a sufficient amount of healing and building, she advised me to pass on everything I learned.

So here I am today to speak about:

  1. Building confidence.
  2. Learning to be compassionate with ourselves and others.
  3. Being authentic. Saying and doing things despite the judgment.
  4. Learning to use intuition.

Best,

Sourab
